"I began my journey in media with broadcast journalism over 10 years ago, with the Hawai'i-based eduprise Searider Productions and the PBS Hawai'i Learning Initiatives department, HIKI NŌ. It allowed me to tell important stories in my community, to dig deep for the most authentic answers, and most of all, it instilled in me a deep love for ethical and nuanced storytelling in the form of photography and film.

When I founded Light Theory, I knew this was what I wanted to continue doing: showcasing stories about our most human moments and, in turn, allowing nonprofits and social impact organizations connect their audience with their mission to help others.  Informed, empathetic, and engaging storytelling is what I strive for."
